The Moorings
Nestled in the picturesque Cemaes Bay, The Moorings was built in 1906 for a retired Sea Captain who clearly loved the sea.
The house is now divided into 2 seperate apartments, both with stunning sea views, making a tranquil sanctuary whatever the weather.
The extensive garden is shared, but with 3 levels and private decking areas there is plenty of space for both apartments to enjoy.
Since 2018 our family has breathed new life into this Edwardian home, transforming it into a warm and inviting retreat for guests seeking the perfect getaway. Many of the original features have remained in place, including a dramatic fire surround which ignites conversations on a winters night!
Whether you’re dreaming of relaxing beach days, walking the coastal path or simply watching the bay our self-catering apartments have something for everyone.

Location, Location, Location! Nestled into the coastline The Moorings has a unique location: old mooring rings remain in the garden from when boats used to pull up alongside. There are 2 entrances to the property: a lower garden gate at the edge of the sea wall, or from our own private car park. The following photos are from the outside of the property, starting with those inside the garden and ending with some from further along the beach or walks from the house.
